Refund Policy - the basics
AFI English Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: August 26, 2025
At AFI English (Applied Fluency International LLC), we value our clients and aim to provide fair and transparent policies. Please review the following terms before making any purchase.
1. General Policy

All purchases of courses, lessons, and materials are considered final once access is granted or lessons begin.

Exceptions may apply in cases of technical failure, duplicate payments, or other issues attributable to AFI English.
2. Cancellation Before Course Start

If you cancel your enrollment 7 days or more before the scheduled start date, you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel less than 7 days before the course start date, a 50% refund will apply.
3. Ongoing Lessons & Packages

For tutoring packages, any unused lessons may be refunded if cancellation is requested at least 48 hours before the next scheduled session.

Lessons already completed are non-refundable.
4. Missed Lessons / No-Shows

Missed lessons or no-shows without 24-hour prior notice will be considered used and non-refundable.

Rescheduling may be offered at AFI English’s discretion, depending on teacher availability.
5. Digital Products & Materials

Downloadable or digital materials (e.g., PDFs, workbooks, recordings) are non-refundable once delivered.
6. Cancellations by AFI English

If AFI English must cancel a course, package, or lesson (e.g., due to teacher unavailability, low enrollment, or technical failure), students will be entitled to:

A full refund, or
-
A credit toward future lessons or programs, at the student’s choice.

7. Refund Method

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

Any transaction or bank processing fees are non-refundable.
